Jazz Orchestra of the Concertgebouw : Threnody, The music of Jim McNeely

On retrouve ainsi Martijn Vink (ex Brussels Jazz Orchestra) sur « Martijns Thing », Ilja Reinjngoud (ex Octurn) sur « The Race to Nowhere », « What Is This Anyway », « Old School » ou « Threnody », le guitariste Martijn Van Iterson (DVD Tineke Postma, « Live in Amsterdam ») sur « What Is This Anyway », Jan Van Druikren (« Old School », Threnody), Ruud Breuls au soyeux flugelhorn sur « Just Trying Tome », Jasper Van Damme, impétueux alto, sur « Just Trying to Smile » ou « Threnody », ainsi que Marco Kegel qui dynamise « My Foolish Heart ». Une façon plaisante de revisiter la tradition.
